The Swiss Internet service provider Genotec AG was founded in 2001. The company has 36 employees, and caters for more than 50,000 domain customers and around 500 server customers in its own computer centres in Zurich, Basel, Berne and Allschwil.

Genotec is a BAKOM-registered provider and a „Microsoft Gold Certified Partner”. Genotec has received the „Swiss Quality Hosting” award from simsa, and is certified by providerliste.ch.

Since 2008, Genotec has been listed by Computerworld as one of the 500 strongest IT companies in Switzerland.
